| pt_BR |

| dc.description.abstractOther | Tropical and subtropical forests are being highly impacted by human actions, with restoration being a human responsibility. The restoration of degraded areas has been consolidating itself as an important environmental adaptation strategy, becoming extremely important in the conservation of local and regional biodiversity. To enhance the success of the restoration, it is important to ensure good planning of all stages, which includes the selection of tree species. These have different environmental requirements, which can alter abiotic and biotic conditions due to ecological relationships. Therefore, understanding the interactions of tree specimens used in reforestation, in tropical areas, with other organisms and the effects on the community is important. This work consists of three chapters that address biological data with the aim of analyzing the influence of four tree species, Guarea guidonia, Inga edulis, Nectandra membranacea, Piptadenia gonoacantha. about the community below its canopy. In the first chapter, the effect of tree species on the arthropod community was described, as it is believed that this is influenced by tree characteristics, such as height and leaf area index. However, tree species have not directly influenced the arthropod community, but these effects are being driven by indirect relationships. In the second chapter, as a way of understanding on a more specific scale, the characteristics of trees that mediated their effect on the composition of ant species were studied. However, this effect is not as clear regarding ant species richness and composition of ant functional groups. In the third chapter, environmental variables, often linked to the tree's identity, are preponderant for the relationship of the biological community, more specifically ants, other arthropods and regenerating plants. | en |
