dc.description.abstractA disponibilidade de mudas sadias, principalmente em espécies propagadas vegetativamente, como abacaxizeiro e bananeira, ou via tubérculo, no caso de batata inglesa, é de suma importância para a conduçäo de trabalhos de pesquisa e de fomento a produçäo agricola. O desenvolvimento de técnicas de propagaçäo in vitro possibilitou a obtençäo de uma grande quantidade de mudas sadias, em curto espaço de tempo. Objetivando otimizar o potencial de plantas advindas desse processo, desenvolveu-se estudos para avaliar os efeitos de simbiontes, como os fungos micorrizicos arbusculares (FMA), no desenvolvimento e produçäo dessas plantas. Conduziu-se, inicialmente, experimentos com mudas micropropagadas de abacaxizeiro (Ananas comosus L.), cultivar Pérola, em casa de vegetaçäo e no campo, visando avaliar a eficiéncia e efetividade dos fungos Glomus clarum, Gigaspora margarita e Acaulospora sp. Verificou-se após o transplante para o campo, um efeito positivo da inoculaçäo com FMA no desenvolvimento e nutriçäo das plantas, assim como na produçäo de mudas.pt_BR

dc.description.abstractOtherThe availability of healthy plant cuttings, especially in species vegetatively propagated, such as pineapple and banana, or via tuber (in the case of the potato) is extremely important to conduct researches and estimulate agricultural production. The development of techniques in vitro propagation made it possible to obtain a great number of variety of healthy plants in a short time. With the aim of optimizing the potential of the plants produced from this process, studies were developed to evaluate the effects of symbiosis, with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), during the development and production of those plants. At the beginning, experiments were made with micropropagated plants of pineapple (Ananas comusus L.), cultivar Pérola, in greenhouse and at the field, to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness ofthe fungi Glomus clarum (Schenck & Nicolson), Gigaspora margarita (Becker & Hall) and Acaulospora sp. After the transplant to the field, it was observed a positive effect of the inoculation with AMF in the development and nutrition of the plants, as well as in the plants production. Similar experiments with micropropagated plants of banana (Musa sp L.), cultivar Mysore, were developed to study the effects of mixed inoculum with G. clarum, in the greenhouse and at the field. It was observed in the greenhouse that the inoculated plants presented results extremely significant as to the parameters ofheight and steam diameter on the soil surface. It was also significant the periods of evaluation and interation between treatment and periods. After the transplant to the field, those differences were not observed.en
