This work was accomplished with the aim of verifying the effect of three temperatures (18,27 and 32°C) on the cellular types of the hemolymph of larvae, nymphs and adults of Rhipicephalus sanguineus (Latreille, 1806). Six basic cellular types were found in the hemolymph, being these denominated: Prohemocytes (PR), plasmatocytes (PL), granulocytes (GR), esferulocytes (ES), adipohemocytes (AD) and oenocytoids (OE). For the larval state it happened an accentuated fall of GR in the temperature of 18°C while at 27 and 32°C the amount of these cells was similar, being this the more abundant cellular type, what could indicate the involvement of these cells in the metabolism of this state. For nymphs this was also the more abundant cellular type, and in this state, it didn't happen great variations for this cellular type, what could indicate that each development state presents a type of metabolic need that is expressed in the cellular types founded in the hemolymph; this presence would be then, in some cases, independent of the temperature. For males and females, PL, GR, is and AD was, depending on the temperature and analyzed phase, the found cellular types, in the hemolymph of state males and females. The growing metabolic complexity along the development, showed a larger diversification of the types hemocytics, what takes to end that the effect of the temperature on the hemocytes of Rhipicephalus sanguineus (Latreille, 1806) was expressed inter and intra states, interating with the metabolic needs of the tick.en
