| dc.description.abstract | Objetivando-se realizar levantamento e quantificação de ciliados do rúmen de bovinos, foram utilizadas três vacas mestiças holando-zebu (Gir), em lactação, fistuladas, mantidas no Centro Nacional de Pesquisa de Gado de Leite (CNPGL/EMBRAPA), situado no município de Coronel Pacheco, MG. Os bovinos foram mantidos com dieta à base de silagem de milho associada a uma ração constituída por 57% de fubá de milho, 40% de farelo de soja, 2% de calcáreo e 1% de sais minerais. Verificou-se que os ciliados do rúmen foram quantitativa- mente influenciados pela alteração nas proporções dos constituintes da dieta (D1 = 20%, D2 = 30% e D3 = 40% de proteína), por fatores inerentes aos animais hospedeiros (A1 e A3 = 3/4 HPB - 1/4 Z; A2 = 11/16 HPB - 5/16 Z) e pela fase do experimento em que as amostras foram obtidas (F1, F2 e F3). A ocorrência dos gêneros dos ciliados foi relacionada ao hospedeiro. Foram observados ciliados das famílias Blepharocorythidae (Charonina Strand, 1928), Isotrichidae (Isotricha Stein, 1859 e Dasytricha Schuberg, 1888) e Ophryoscolecidae (Entodiinae: Entodinium Stein, 1859; Diplodiinae: Diplodinium Schuberg, 1888, Eodinium Kofoid & MacLennan, 1932, Eremoplastron Kofoid & MacLennan, 1932, Polyplastron Dogiel, 1927, Diploplastron Kofoid & MacLennan, 1932 e Ostracodinium Dogiel, 1927). Ciliados dos gêneros citados foram observados nos três bovinos examinados, em todas as dietas e fases do experimento à exceção de Dasytricha só registrados em A1, e de Eremoplastron, presentes em A1 e A2. Os valores totais dos ciliados e respectivos percentuais, de acordo com as famílias registradas foram os sesuintes: Blepharocorythidae 23.520,00 (2,78%), Isotrichidae 14.235,56 (1,68%) e Ophryoscolecidae 808.368,88 (95,54%). O gênero predominante foi Entodinium, correspondendo a 87,42% do total de Ophryoscolecidae ou a 83,52% do total de ciliados. Os valores médios dos ciliados em cada dieta e respectivos percentuais foram 252.666,67 (29,86%) em D1, 316.266,66 (37,38%) em D2 e 277.191,12 (32,76%) em D3. Os valores médios dos ciliados em cada hospedeiro e respectivos percentuais foram 256.275,56 (30,29%) em A1, 390.115,56 (46,11%) em A2 e 199.733,33 (23,61%) em A3. Os valores médios dos ciliados e respectivos percentuais em cada fase do experimento foram 225.595,56 (26,66%) em F1, 279.937,77 (33,09%) em F2 e 340.591,11 (40,25%) em F3. A análise de variância seguida do teste de Tukey a 5% demonstrou diferença significativa dos totais de ciliados entre as dietas testadas, entre os hospedeiros e entre as fases do experimento, indicando que todos estes fatores exerceram influência nas populações de ciliados do rúmen. | pt_BR |

| dc.description.abstractOther | With the aim of carrying out the survey and quantification of rumen ciliate in cattle, three suckling crossbred friesian-zebu (Gir) cows, with fistulas, were used. They were kept at the National Research Centre of Cattle Kept for Milk (CNPGL/EMBRAPA), situated in the town Coronel Pacheco in the state of Minas Gerais. The cattle were kept under a diet based on silage corn associated with a ration composed of 57% of corn flour, 40% of soy bran, 2% of limestone and 1% of mineral salt. It was verified that the rumen ciliate were quantitatively influenced by the alteration to the proportions of the constituents of the diet (% protein: D1 = 20; D2 = 30; D3 = 40) due to factors inherent in the host animals (A1 and A3 = 3⁄4 HPB - 1/4 Z; A2 = 11/16 HPB - 5/16 Z) and to the stage of the experiment at which the samples were obtained (F1, F2 and F3). The occurrence of the genera of ciliate was related to the host. Ciliate of the following families were observed: Blepharocorythidae (Charonina Strand, 1928), Isotrichidae (Isotricha Stein, 1859 and Dasytricha Schuberg, Stein, 1888) and Ophryoscolecidae (Entodiinae: Entodinium Stein, 1859; Diplodiinae: Diplodinium Schuberg, 1888, Eodinium Kofoid & MacLennan, 1932, Eremoplastron Kofoid & MacLennan, 1932, Polyplastron Dogiel, 1927, Diploplastron Kofoid & MacLennan, 1932 and Ostracodinium Dogiel, 1927). Ciliate of the genera mentioned above were observed in the three animals examined, in all the diets and stages of the experiment; except for Dasytricha, which was only recorded in A1 and for Eremoplastron, which was present in A1 and A2. The total values of ciliate and their respective percentage according to the families recorded were as follows: Blepharocorythidae 23.520,00 (2.78%), Isotrichidae 14.235,56 (1.68%) and Ophryoscolecidae 808.368,88 (95.54%). The predominant genus was Entodinium, which corresponded to 87.42% of the total of Ophryoscolecidae or to 83.52% of the total of ciliate. The average values of ciliate in each diet and their respective percentage were 252.666,67 (29.86%) in D1, 316.266,66 (37.38%) in D2 and 277.191,12 (32.76%) in D3. The average values of ciliate in each host and their respective percentage in each stage of the experiment were 225.595 56 (26.66%) in F1, 279.937,77 (33.09%) in F2 and 340.591,11 (40.25%) in F3. The analysis of variation followed by Tukey's test at 5% showed a significant difference in the total of ciliate among the diets tested, the hosts and the stages of the experiment, indicating that all these factors had influence on the rumen ciliate populations. | en |
