| pt_BR |

| dc.description.abstractOther | The purpose of this experiment was to study in a particular way the stomata behavior in plants of Phaseolus vulgaris L. not symbiotically associate to fixing of N2. This stutly was conduct to field, in. plants normaly irrigated or dependent of rain, occuring temporary stress during the vegetative stage(V4), until the start of the reproduction stage(flowering, R5) and, later, during fhe pod-filling(R8). For this an experiment was installed at the experimental campus of Crop Science Fitotecnia Department from U.F.R.R.J. (239 41’ L. S.; 43o 41’ Long W.), Km 47, Old highway Rio-São Paulo. The experimental design was disposed in strips, with two cultivars (XODÓ and CNF-480) subdued in two treatments: irrigation and not irrigation, with three random repetitions. The irrigation was applied the soil water potential reached -2,0 MPa, measured by a soi1 psycrometer. During the periods where happened water deficit the following soil-plant-water indicators were mea WH,(soil water potential), WH f water potential), stomatal conductance and light intensity in each sample data. During the V.4.4-stage a dialy monitoring in hour-interval of these indicators was made. At the end of the experiment were avaliated the classic yield components: pod number, grain number and grain weigh per plant. The major considerat ions were: the ocurrence of water deficit during culture cycle resulted in decrease the YHf, the Stomatic conductance and all the yield components, except the number of pods per Plant(on the average of the two cultivars), The cultivar XODÓ endured yield reduction of 30,1 and 42,6% in grain and weigh number per plant basis respectively. Anotherway, in the CNF-480 cultivar, the effect of the water stress in these yield components were 41,1 and 55,9% respectively. The best apparrent yield stability showed by cultivar XODÓ, can be due to a less reduction of [QLH during the water deficit period, probably due to a bigger control of stomatal opening. | en |
