Other1’larek's Disease is a chickens neoolastic highly contaqious character, which is caused by Herpesvirus» fôince 1'770., this disease had been considered to be under control by a live vaccine, which uses turkey Herpesvirus (HVT) as vaccinal sample. However, highly virulent wild samples of 1’larek's Disease have been recently isolated from immunized animais, revealing problems in vaccination programs» Urgent efforts are necessary to identify herpesvirus polypeptides that coulcl be used as more efficient vaccines to control the appearance of new wild samples of 1’larek's Disease Virus» The Identification of the polypeptides induced by wild virus samples specially those presenting cross reactions with the vaccinal virus sample, was revealed as an important initial step to be developed. This study was designed to investigate the presence of these virus polypeptides;, through analysis o-f kidney cells of vaccinated, infected and . control chickens, using immunobiochemical techniques The study on those virus-induced polypeptides was able to detect autoantibodies that recognized almost all of these proteins detected in non infected kidney cells» Although the presence of autoantibodies the Identification of those specific virus polypeptides, new perspectives wore opened for studies on lrlarek's Disease»en
