| pt_BR |

| dc.description.abstractOther | In order to determine the presence of pathogenic, opportunist and allergenic fungi in Ipanema beach, Rio de Janeiro, R.J., 144 samples of sand were collected during twelve months ( October, 1986 - September, 1987) from four different sites along this beach and from three distinct equidistant subpoints localized between the sea and the walkway. The samples were asseptically processed using sodium cloride 0,15M, and saturated Solutions that were transferred to Petri dishes containing Sabouraud-glucose-agar médium and chloramphenicol, for the potential pathogenic moulds isolation. It had been identified 1334 filamentous fungous colonies allocated into 35 genera and 170 species. Some Mycellia sterilia and Coelomycetes had also been assigned. Potential pathogenic fungi as: Phialophora richardsiae, Acremonium kiliense, a. recifei, Exophiala dermatitidis, Fusarium solani, Aspergillus fumigatus and Opportunist fungi as: Aspergillus, Penicillium, Fusarium, Acremonium, Paecilomyces, Geotriahum, and Dematiaceae were found xvi Species of Allergenic fungi were classified in: Cladosporium, Acremonium, Aspergillus, Fusarium, Aureobasidium, Alternaria and Drechslera genera. Among the 1334 identified fungi the genera their respective frequency percentages and species number were: Aspergillus 30,43% (32 species); Penicillium 16,26% (35 species); Fusarium 12,59% (33 species); Trichoderma 6,37% (7 species); Paecilomyces 3,67% (10 species); Cladosporium 3,07% (8 species); Acremonium 0,97% (8 species); Mycellia sterilia 18,29% and Coelomycetes sphaeropsidales, that haven’t been allocated to genera 1,94%. The seasonal distribution established the higher fungi frequency during the winter time and the lowest in the summer time. | en |
