dc.description.abstractA marcação-recaptura de morcegos permite a individualização e assim aspectos inerentes ao indivíduo podem ser estudados. Este trabalho teve como objetivo geral discutir a importância da marcação de morcegos no Brasil, onde poucos trabalhos relatam a marcação dos indivíduos capturados e as recapturas. Com a utilização de marcação com coleira plástica e através de compilação de dados foram analisados três tópicos referentes a marcação-recaptura de morcegos Phyllostomidae: variação de recapturas em áreas no Estado do Rio de Janeiro, registros de deslocamentos no Brasil, variação na abundância de ectoparasitos Streblidae em indivíduos de Carollia perspicillata. Ilha da Gipóia, Ilha da Marambaia e Ilha de Itacuruçá e três locais no continente, Estação Ecológica Estadual Paraíso, Morro de São João e Reserva Rio das Pedras tiveram as taxas de recapturas relatadas. As taxas de recapturas das ilhas foram significativamente maiores do que no continente, demonstrado que ilhas podem ser bons locais para estudos com recaptura de morcegos. Nos seis locais foram marcados de 487 a 1318, havendo de 24 a 158 recapturas, variando de três a 11 espécies por área. As taxas de recaptura por área variaram de 4,2 a 19,2%. Carollia perspicillata foi a única espécie recapturada nos seis locais e apresentou uma das maiores taxas de recapturas na Ilha de Itacuruçá com 43,5%. Foram relatados deslocamentos de Glossophaga soricina de 6,2 km no município de Seropédica, de Artibeus lituratus ente a Ilha Grande, município de Angra dos Reis, e Prainha, no município do Rio de Janeiro, a uma distância de 71 km. Vinte sete deslocamentos foram realizados entre sete pontos da Ilha da Marambaia, município de Mangaratiba, totalizando seis espécies, Anoura caudifer, Artibeus fimbriatus, Artibeus planirostri, Artibeus obscurus, Carollia perspicillata e Platyrrhinus lineatus, com deslocamentos de até 2,4 km. Com a análise de registros de deslocamento de Phyllostomidae de todo Brasil observou-se um alto número de registros de Artibeus lituratus, com esta espécie apresentando as maiores distâncias de deslocamentos, contribuindo para uma regressão linear e positiva entre as distâncias de deslocamento e o tamanho corporal. Através da individualização foi possível verificar a variação na abundância de ectoparasitas Streblidae em 42 indivíduos de C. perspicillata. O maior tempo decorrido entre a captura e recaptura não aumentou o número de ectoparasitas encontrados. Os indivíduos que apresentaram mais ectoparasitas no momento da captura não apresentaram mais Streblidae no momento da recaptura. Apenas dois indivíduos apresentaram diferenças significativas na abundância de Streblidae entre captura e recaptura. O maior esforço de marcação irá contribuir para um maior número de recapturas, propiciando variadas análises que contribuíram para o conhecimento da biologia dos morcegos.por

dc.description.abstractOtherThe mark-recapture of bats allows individualization and thus aspects inherent to the individual can be studied. This study aimed to discuss the importance of marking bats in Brazil, where few studies report the marking of individuals captured and the recaptures. With the use of marking with plastic collar and through compilation of data was analyzed three topics related to mark-recapture bat Phyllostomidae: variation of recaptures in localities in the State of Rio de Janeiro, records of movements in Brazil, variations in the abundance of ectoparasitic Streblidae in individuals of Carollia perspicillata. The Gipóia Island, Marambaia Island and Itacuruçá Island and three localities on the continent, State Ecological Station Paraíso, Morro de São João and Rio das Pedras Reserve had reported recapture rates. The rates of recapture of the islands were significantly higher than the continent, islands can be shown that good places to recapture studies of bats. In the six localities were marked from 487 to 1318, with 24 to 158 recaptures, ranging from three to 11 species by locality. Recapture rates varied by location from 4.2 to 19.2%. Carollia perspicillata was the only species recaptured in six places and had the highest rates of recaptures in the Itacuruçá Island with 43.5%.Were reported movements of Glossophaga soricina of 6.2 km in the municipality of Seropédica, of Artibeus lituratus between the Grande Island, municipality of Angra dos Reis, and Prainha, in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro, a linear distance of 71 km. Twenty-seven movements realized between seven points of Marambaia Island, municipality of Mangaratiba, of six species, Anoura caudifer, Artibeus fimbriatus, Artibeus planirostri, Artibeus obscurus, Carollia perspicillata e Platyrrhinus lineatus, with movements to 2.4 km. With the analysis of records of Phyllostomidae movement throughout Brazil observed a high number of records of Artibeus lituratus, with this species showing the greatest distances to travel, contributing to a positive linear correlation between the distance of movement and body size. Through individualization was possible to determine the variations in the abundance of Streblidae ectoparasite in 42 individuals of C. perspicillata. The long time past between capture and recapture did not increase the number of parasites found. Individuals who had more ectoparasites at the moment of capture did not have more Streblidae at the moment of recapture. Only two individuals showed significant differences in the abundance of Streblidae between capture and recapture. The more effort of marking will contribute to a greater number of recaptures, allowing various analyses that will contribute to the understanding of the biology of bats.eng
