| Abstract: | Esta dissertação tem como objeto de estudo o encarceramento e as relações afetivas e sexuais entre mulheres no Presídio Feminino Talavera Bruce. A pesquisa busca analisar as práticas sexuais e discursos destas detentas sobre suas relações e como estas são vistas pela instituição. A escolha da instituição se deu por seu pioneirismo no encarceramento em presídio exclusivamente feminino no Brasil e por já ter tido contato em pesquisa anterior com algumas presidiárias que lá haviam cumprido pena. A pesquisa permitiu identificar algumas transformações na política institucional quanto ao tratamento dispensando a este público e suas relações bem como as práticas de violência institucionais. | Abstract: | This dissertation has the objective to study the imprisonment and the affective and sexual relationships among women at the Talavera Bruce Female Prison. This research seeks to analyze the sexual practices and the detainees‟speech about their relationships and how they are seen by the Institution. The choice of this Institution for the study, was de to its Pioneer spirit on the imprisonment at prisons exclusively for women in Brazil and for having already had contact with former prisoners who had served their time at that Institution. This research allowed to identify some transformation on the institutional policy concerning the treatment given to those women and their relationships, as well as the institutional practices of violence. It also analyzed the speeches raised by the women who were interviewed about their identities and sexual practices |
