Time management (TM) refers to the ability to set goals, meet deadlines, perform tasks in a planned and organized manner. In this context, this research aims to review existing interventions and present the construction of a TM program in university students. Study 1 sought to characterize the scientific publications on TM in adults available in the PUBMED, ERIC, PsycINFO, SciELO and LILACS databases, according to the PRISMA methodology. Based on the inclusion / exclusion criteria, 32 articles were selected and analyzed. The results showed that efficient temporal management can decrease procrastination, anxiety and stress and improve self-efficacy, organization and planning. The stimulation of this ability can help the subjects' performance at university, at work and in daily life. Study 2 presents the construction process and content validity evidences of a protocol for TM in university students. From the evaluation of the referees and the review of the program, an adequate version with pertinent and relevant strategies to the proposed theme is presentedeng
