| Abstract: | Este trabalho tem por objetivo avaliar a ocorrência de coleópteros degradadores da madeira, em duas áreas de cobertura vegetal: pastagem e regeneração natural no município de Seropédica-RJ. As amostras foram coletadas semanalmente, através da armadilha Carvalho 47 instaladas a um metro do solo, sendo três por área. Os indivíduos foram quantificados e identificados após serem secos em estufa a 40ºC por 24h. O pico populacional dos Scolytidae ocorreu em agosto, enquanto dos Bostrichidae foi ao mês de julho. Na área de pastagem registrou-se uma quantidade de insetos superior à de regeneração natural. |
| Abstract: | The aim of this experiment is to estimate the population fluctuation of the wood devourer coleoptera species in two different places: in natural regeneration and grassland at Seropédica municipality of Rio de Janeiro state. The samples were collected every week, through Carvalho 47 trap fixed a one metre high, wherewith three of them per area. In period between March 22th and August 9th 2007. The samples were keeped in stove a temperature of 40°C for 24 hours, after that they were counted and identified. The highest scolytids species population occured in August and the bostrichidae species population occured in July. |
